WELCOME:

Hey hey hey, Hashers !!!

So, looking forward to seeing you on our 100th Birthday celebration weekend.

We have a fun packed weekend lined out for you – check out our schedule HERE, however below is a brief overview:

LOCATION:

Lichfield Rugby Football Club, Cooke Fields, Tamworth Road, Lichfield, WS14 9JE. What3words: ///crew.spike.passes.

Turning just off A51 (Tamworth Road) by the Horse and Jockey pub car park.

See details of how to get there HERE.

The site will be open from 2pm on Friday 7th June until 3pm Sunday 9th June.

When you arrive please check where you should leave vehicles and put your tent (if needed). Please note you will have to leave your car in the car park and not park by your tent.

FRIDAY:

Registration & welcome drinks from 3pm.

Friday night is “what's your emergency” this will be our 99 Run into Lichfield.
We will be raising funds for Parkinson's, as this charity is so close to our heart: We would like to have some volunteers to carry buckets and wear T-Shirts. Please contact admin@bullmoonh3.co.uk if you can support us in this. This is just an excuse for DT to put on his fireman outfit but…. we will happily run with him.

Please note the hash (treasure trail) starts at 5:30 pm, Hares Soggy Balls and Wriggle.

There will be someone on site for late arrivals.

SATURDAY:

We have a choice of different length hashes for our 100th hash, they are;

Long (approx. 10 miles) with a Ballbreaker option (both slightly earlier start). Hared by Muzzle-im, Speedbumps & Bullshi..er.

Medium (approx. 4-5 miles), 2 options. Hared by Soggy Balls, Wriggle, Durex & Malteaser.

Short (more of a guided walk, approx. 3 miles). Hared by Day-Tripper & Stuck-on-Wood

All the hashes will include a beer stop and lunch stop. However we suggest you also bring a refillable water bottle to take on the hash.

There is an event on at the rugby club until 4:30 pm, we will stay off site until after then. So we have games lined up by Dongle and Software for the afternoon along with some other activities.

Saturday night’s theme is Birmingham Bands, so get your glad rags on, ready to dance the night away with our own band of the evening.

Ideas for Birmingham bands theme:

🎶 Dress like a band member

🎶 Represent a band name or a song or album

🎶 Recreate an single / album cover

🎶 Wear a band t-shirt

For inspiration check HERE.

SUNDAY:

Heading on to Sunday we have a hangover hash hared by Dangerless & Dasher followed by some more games lined up by Dongle and Software.

Please leave by 3pm.

DON'T FORGET:

The Rugby Club and any other venues we visit are PAYG bars. However we will provide welcome drinks, a beer stop on the Saturday hash and a few other treats throughout the weekend .

We are providing breakfast on Saturday & Sunday, lunch off-site on the Saturday and nibbles Friday night and a meal Saturday night.

We suggest you bring a mixture of cash and cards to use at the venues & donate to our charities (Parkinson's and St Giles Hospice).

REQUEST:

A note below from Dongle and Software about the games:

“To add to the fun at the Bull Moon away weekend we are hoping that you can rummage in your... drinks cabinet ...under stairs cupboard ...garage ...larder ...attic ...garden shed… to unearth that old and unwanted bottle that you're prepared to donate… Is it Auntie Mabel's infamous gooseberry wine, that bottle you bought on holiday and have never risked opening or the beer you forgot you had?

This is NOT a request to buy something, but a request to bring the spare oddity that you'd be happy to palm off on the rest of us.....

If you can contribute please give your offering to the registration team on arrival."

If you have more drinks to spare we will have a shot wheel - raising money for St Giles Hospice a local charity near Lichfield.

MORE INFORMATION:
That’s a taste of the weekend please make sure you are on the WhatsApp group so you know what is happening and any additional useful information.

Please be aware there is also Lichfield Jazz and Blues festival happening 5th to 9th June in Lichfield.
